Objective

The objective of this policy is to have detailed plans for responding to emergencies such as fires, natural disasters, and medical emergencies.

Evacuation Routes

Clear and well-marked evacuation routes should be established in all areas of our facility. These should lead to safe assembly points away from the building.

Assembly Points

Designated assembly points should be established outside the building. These should be located a safe distance away from the building and all employees should be informed of their locations.

Response Plan

1. In case of an emergency, the alarm will be triggered.
2. All personnel should immediately evacuate the building using the designated evacuation routes.
3. Assemble at the designated assembly points.
4. Emergency services should be contacted immediately.
5. The situation should be assessed by the designated safety officer and further actions should be taken based on their instructions.

Regular Drills

Regular drills should be conducted to ensure that all employees are familiar with the evacuation routes and assembly points.

Review

This policy should be reviewed annually and updated as necessary. All updates should be communicated to all employees.
